Adam Schacter focuses on working with his clients to create long-term, personalized financial plans, oversees the portfolio design, and ensures they are tax-efficient.

Adam is a Certified Financial Planner®, Chartered Investment Manager®, and Discretionary Portfolio Manager. He has spent the past 14 years serving business owners and their families. Prior to aligning with Embark Wealth and Designed Securities, Adam worked as an advisor with Mandeville Private Client Inc., covering portfolio management, financial planning, insurance planning, and tax planning.

From 2015 to 2021, Adam was given the shortlist distinction of Finalist for the Wealth Professional Awards "Young Achiever of the Year", given annually to the top advisor in Canada under 40 years old.

In 2018, Adam was named a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®) - the highest honour and most senior credential in Canadian financial services. He graduated from Carleton University in 2005 with a BSc in Biochemistry.

When he's not in the office, Adam spends time reading and singing to his daughter Everly, and dancing in the kitchen with his partner Ashley. Adam has taught several accredited courses in financial planning at various levels of expertise to both advisors and investors. He enjoys staying active in a number of team and individual sports, is an avid cook, and devotes time to the Hillel Lodge Long-Term Care Foundation.
